Tim is passionate about the ‘why’. As an engineer, he enjoys exploring the intersection where people, technology, and the creative process collide with the real world. Tim loves working with innovative, driven people from a wide range of different backgrounds and is always keen to invest in partnerships with value-focused clients, contractors and other like-minded professionals.

Originally from Canada, Tim comes from a construction management background working on large infrastructure projects in the energy sector. He started his career in 2014 as a project engineer with marine construction firm Subsea 7, before migrating to the design and consulting world with global giant Arup.

Since joining Structex in 2019, Tim has been busy supporting clients in South Canterbury. Project highlights to-date include seismic assessment and strengthening of industrial, commercial and heritage buildings, upgrades to the Timaru Hospital campus, and collaborating with local government on risk management strategies.

Outside of work, Tim enjoys raising his young family with Kiwi wife, Natasha, and embraces opportunities to get out and explore more of his new home.
