Ryan joined Structex in 2024 as a chartered senior structural engineer with over 13 years' experience.

Ryan started his career in Wellington and has worked across New Zealand, Australia and the United Kingdom. He has been settled back in Christchurch since 2018. Ryan has worked on a wide range of commercial and residential projects across many sectors. Prolific projects include and architectural commercial building on Moorhouse Avenue, a shopping centre in Banks Peninsula, high rise student accommodation in Liverpool, UK, and many high-end residential houses.

Ryan enjoys forming relationships with clients, designers and contractors, understanding their requirements and constraints to achieve great project results. He gains immense satisfaction from seeing projects transform from the drawing board to completed projects on site.

Outside of work Ryan spends his time with his wife and two children, landscaping the section for their newly built house, or behind his coffee machine working on his latte art.
