Regan started his career with Structex (Lyttelton office) in 2013. He has had a wide range of experience designing commercial and industrial structures, with a particular focus on winery buildings and infrastructure. Some highlights include a three-storey waterfront office building in Lyttelton, and strengthening and alterations to a heritage-listed car dealership and workshop in central Christchurch.

He has since spent time as a structural team leader in a national multi-disciplinary company, broadening his experience leading design projects and working closely with in-house geotechnical engineers, civil engineers and architectural designers. He returned to Structex (Christchurch office) in 2023.

Outside of work, Regan enjoys spending time with his young family, and getting into the outdoors – running, tramping or skiing.
