Petra arrived from Germany in 2004 with her husband Ulrich and their two sons, and started her job with Structex Harvard in 2004. She graduated with a National Diploma in Civil Engineering in Germany and has since worked in the structural engineering and design field. She left Structex Harvard in 2009 to work with her husband in their family business, but her passion for structural design and missing the Structex team, saw Petra gravitate back to the fold. Petra is experienced in structural draughting in AutoCad and Revit, as well as bookkeeping, accounting & payroll, and is fluent in German. She revels in attention to detail.
She works remotely from her residence in sunny Nelson, and in her free time she enjoys riding her motorbike, outdoor activities and gardening.
