Facing a unique challenge during the project - a shortage of Gib – the project team ingeniously transformed the internal ceiling with sleek steel corrugate, delivering a clean and sophisticated aesthetic. The site itself, once a historic commercial laundry operation, underwent a sustainable transformation, with some existing structures strengthened and repurposed for a harmonious blend of history and modernity. Standout against the Nelson skyline is the unmistakable building, boldly adorned in the iconic bright blue Turners paint.
