The house was constructed in Timaru in three sections and transported to site where it was connected to the new foundations. This enabled higher quality assurance and fewer site delays, and also keeping inspection costs down as our local Timaru office were able to do the main inspections in Timaru. In-situ linking corridors were built on site to connect the three sections. The structure is predominantly timber framed, with steel portals and roof purlins over the living area to create a high arched ceiling.
