Formerly the offices of the Lyttelton Harbour Board, this 140-year old building was badly damaged after the Canterbury earthquakes. Structex led the way in developing a scheme to refurbish and strengthen the building as well as securing a grant for the owner to retain the heritage element.

Having lost a number of heritage buildings in Lyttelton, including the upper storey of this building, the owners, community and council were eager to retain the remaining brick façade.
